About Us
My Scars Are Beautiful® is a Nevada 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of traumatic physical injuries and the emotional scars that often follow. These experiences include burns, accidents, surgeries, violence, medical trauma, or other life-altering injuries that impact both physical and emotional well-being. We provide compassionate support and healing resources through programs and services such as peer support groups, art therapy workshops, community social outings, and financial assistance for low-income survivors covering reconstuctive surgery cost. Our goal is to create spaces where survivors feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Since 2016, our mission has been to offer support with compassion, understanding, acceptance, and love while honoring the strength, resilience, and beauty found in scars both inside and out.

We Provide:
Trauma Education/Art Workshops
Our workshops focus on recovery techniques for mental, emotional, and physical trauma. Providing a plethora of information to learn about trauma and healing coping mechanisms for survivors to build skills needed to better deal with their situation. Please visit our calendar for upcoming workshops.
Financial Assistance
We provide financial assistance for low-income and non-insured individuals for counseling, surgery/injury needs and insurance co-pays. Dealing with the added trauma of being unable to pay for the treatments or services that are required for one's recovery is a burden no one should have to bear. We strive to lessen that load when possible. Please contact us for an application.

Peer-to-Peer Support Groups
